Free prep for the ROC-A aeronautical radio certificate.
You need the Restricted Operator Certificate with Aeronautical Qualification (ROC-A) to transmit on aviation radio in Canada, in an aircraft or at a ground station, and drone pilots need it to talk to aircraft. The exam is given by an examiner accredited by ISED, and you need 70% to pass. AeroPass gives you the whole ROC-A course for free in the app.

FAQ
+Is it really free?
Yes. The ROC-A course is free in the app with no time limit. You can leave a $5 tip if you like; it changes nothing.
+Is this the real ISED exam?
No. ISED examiners set their own exams. Questions are written from public material: the Radiocommunication Act, the ISED study guide RIC-21 and ICAO radiotelephony procedures.
+Do drone pilots need the ROC-A?
Only to transmit on aviation frequencies. Listening on a receiver does not need a certificate.
